On Saturday 29th June we celebrated Armed Forces Day. The Self Storage Company is proud to honour the bravery, dedication, and sacrifice of the men and women who serve in our armed forces. This day holds special significance for many in The Self Storage Company family, as we employ numerous ex-forces and family members of serving personnel. We would like to take a moment to recognize the hard work and sacrifice our service members endure, both past and present.

Their discipline, commitment, and resilience are qualities that enrich our team and enhance our service.

In support of our military community, we are excited to announce our participation in several military careers fairs this autumn. These events are designed to assist ex-military personnel in transitioning back into civilian life by exploring new career paths. We will be present at the career fair on September 3rd in the East Midlands and on September 17th in York. We look forward to meeting many talented individuals and discussing the opportunities available at The Self Storage Company.

Several of our self-storage locations across the UK have been actively fundraising and showing their support and commitment to the many veterans and military families within our community. This demonstrates our ongoing dedication to the armed forces, not just on Armed Forces Day but throughout the year.

Moreover, we are thrilled to share that we are in the process of partnering with Help for Heroes as our next national charity partnership. Help for Heroes is an organisation dedicated to providing lifelong support to service personnel and veterans with injuries, illnesses, and wounds sustained while serving. This partnership will allow us to contribute to the well-being of our military community on a broader scale, supporting those who have given so much for our country.
